Layer 3 Ethernet Switches for Blade & Standalone Applications

Our cost-effective switches provide enterprise-class performance with advanced switching capabilities in a top-of-rack or standalone 1U form factor will help you grow or consolidate your data center.

Using our 1/10 Gb switches, you'll experience the latest in Ethernet networking performance across 24 or 48 ports of 10/100/1000 BASE-T and up to four 10 Gb Ethernet uplinks. These switches allow data center friendly connectivity to 10GE servers, routers and backbones. Also, the 1U form factor enables optimized deployment for wiring closet or top-of-rack environments.

A comprehensive routing and protocol software suite ensures optimal performance in even the most demanding enterprise-class networking environments. And when using our SuperBlades you'll appreciate the common set of features and a management interface that matches the 1/10G Layer 3 Ethernet Switch for the Blade.

The SuperBlade Ethernet switching capability also includes a 10-Gigabit Ethernet Blade switch (SBM-XEM-X10S). In addition Supermicro now offers multiple models of 1U rackmount 10G Ethernet switches (SSE-X24S/R, SSE-X3348S/R, SSE-X3348T/R, and SSE-X3648S/R) - for use in top-of-rack installations to interconnect servers with 10G Ethernet ports and/or to provide access to the network backbone in a data center environment. Also available in a data-center-friendly reverse-airflow model, these 10G switches reconfirm Supermicro's commitment to customers with a wide range of optimal solutions for their data center switching and computing needs.
