Question
I cannot install Windows 7 or Windows 2008 on my X11SSH-F. The USB keyboard and mouse cannot function. How to resolve this issue?

Intel removes EHCI controller on all Skylake platforms. Old Windows OS like Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 do not have xHCI USB controller drivers support which cause all USB devices to stop working during OS installation.
In order to solve this, patch USB xHCI dirvers into installation of USB bootable drive with Intel Utility.

Create a bootable Win7 USB drive. Tools and instructions are available at:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/windows-usb-dvd-download-tool
Once that is done, patch the USB drive with this Intel utility for native USB 3.0 support. This way the mouse/keyboard will work:
